About Ciao Bella Jewelry

Michelle and Bella

Ciao Bella Jewelry, established in 2008, is located 20 minutes south of downtown Pittsburgh, PA. The design studio is situated in a historic building previously used as a mule barn for coal mining. Its wooden beams and exposed brick interior serves to inspire Ciao Bella’s president and designer, Michelle VanBibber.

Ciao Bella Jewelry’s name was chosen by Michelle’s daughter who was five years old at the time. It also represents the designer’s Italian heritage. During a visit to Italy, Italian men marveled at Michelle’s daughter’s blonde hair saying “Ciao Bella,” which translates “Hello Beautiful.”  Michelle was brainstorming names for the company, and her daughter Helina suggested using her “Italy name.”

Michelle has an eye for color and texture, and takes pride in each piece she creates. She attributes Ciao Bella’s success to the personalized customer service and standards for high quality products.

Ciao Bella jewelry is hand-crafted in the USA and collections are tailored toward boutiques, gift shops, zoo & aquarium shops, national parks, campgrounds, state parks, museum gift shops, sports & teams, and much more!
